EL-PAS E-Cruise, SafeSpeed & Memory |
SafeSpeed is a safe and comfortable way to temporarily limit the vehicle's maximum speed. It increases safety for you and your fellow motorists as you will not accidentally exceed the legal speed limit. It also provides for a safer environment with fewer CO2 emissions, and it is highly convenient at variable speeds. In addition, it reduces the risk of speeding tickets and accidents since the vehicle can be limited to the maximum legal speed. |

SafeSpeed is activated by pressing the Limiter button at the desired speed. The vehicle will then be unable to accelerate beyond the selected speed, such as 50 km/h. SafeSpeed is deactivated by pressing the Limiter button again, or by fully depressing the accelerator for approximately 2 seconds. With the new Memory function for the cruise control, shifting between the different speeds will become easier and more convenient. Memory consists of 3 MEM functions that store your selected speeds. The MEM function can be activated when you use the cruise control at speeds that you have selected, such as 90 km/h, 110 km/h, and 130 km/h. Any of the three self-selected speeds can be selected by simply activating one of the three MEM buttons. It is possible to modify the saved MEM speeds. |
